We had another full house at last night’s Second Wednesday for the talk by Nottingham copywriter Camilla Zajac from Green Light Copwriting. Even with lots of people on holiday we still filled the Mezz bar at Broadway – if this carries on we will need a bigger venue! Lots of new faces too, including Andy from Cocoaheads and Gemma from Geekup Nottingham. Good to see the Lincoln crowd again, and there are plans afoot for a Lincoln tech meetup…
Phil from Nottingham Pecha Kucha also came along to tell us about the next Pecha Kucha event – a series of ten 6 minute presentations that can be on absolutely anything. Last time included a guy with no fingers or toes who keeps falling off mountains (Nigel Vardy) and a guy obsessed with numbers… I went to the last one and it was a great evening!
We are also plotting a pre-event party the night before New Adventures in Web Design conference in January – watch this space for more info. It will involve lots of beer no doubt.
